Join our New and Expanding Planning & Subdivision Management Division
Due to the growth of our company, Ashcroft homes are looking to recruit an intermediate level planner to assist us in our new and expanding Planning & Subdivision Management division of the company.
This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Intermediate level Resource Management Planner to join a busy, growing, housing development company which will challenge their planning skills & knowledge while also being responsible for the project management of subdivisions to completion securing new titles for our clients.
Key Responsibilities for this role include:
Coordination of land use and subdivision resource consent applications for a wide range of small to large scale residential developments.
Preparation of assessment of environmental effects; liaising with in house drafts people for resource consent plan making; liaising with development specialists to secure specialist reports for submission with applications; Liaising with clients to secure written approvals and coordination of the lodgement of applications
Project manage resource consent applications to secure approvals from the territorial authority. Trouble shoot any section 92 requests for further information
Providing advice to the Ashcroft team and clients on resource management plans, policies & rules
Providing innovative solutions for clients
This candidate should have a strong background in report writing.
Project Management Assist the subdivision manager with:
Preparation of contracts for subdivision works for clients
Coordination of implementing the conditions of subdivision consents
Arrangement of quotes from all subcontractors/consultants to complete subdivision works.
Liaise with clients in relation to all subdivision aspects
Project manage all works as required to secure 224c certification
Liaise with the client's solicitor, and surveyor to secure titles
The successful candidate will possess the following:
A tertiary qualification in planning/resource management
Good knowledge of the relevant Acts, legislation and practices
2-3 years NZ Resource Consent Planning experience
Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
Current Class 1 New Zealand drivers licence
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Excellent organisational ability and good analytical skills
Effective time management with proven ability in multi-tasking to achieve deadlines
Commitment to providing excellent customer service
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and
Ability to maintain confidentiality
