Humphreys Landscaping is a well-established landscaping company operating in Auckland. The company has an excellent reputation for delivering high level service in Landscape Design/ Architecture, Construction and Garden Maintenance to high end residential clients.
We are seeking an Experienced Landscape Designer or Architect to join our team as a Lead Designer.
As a lead designer, your role will entail all aspects of design from taking the original brief from the clients, conceptual design, material palettes, planting design, developed and 3D design work, building & resource consent as well as over-seeing the construction of your design.
You will be able to manage junior designers to assist with your work as well as fit in with a team of professionals all aiming to deliver the highest quality landscapes to our clients.
We remunerate competitively and are willing to negotiate with the successful candidate based on their skills and experience.
Successful applicants with a good track record in detailed residential landscape design as well as being able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Sound experience in residential landscape design/ architecture
Excellent CAD skills, experience in Vector works preferred
Experience and skill in creating quality, innovative and constructible designs
Excellent communication skills with clients and the team you are working with
Experience in preparing documents and drawings for resource and building consents
Strong knowledge of both hard and soft landscaping
Ability to 'sell' your designs to our clients
A relevant tertiary education is an advantage
