Sales super star, take no prisoners attitude - want to be the best?
We're seeking a new Territory Manager to join our team and champion our premium retail brands plus develop and grow the trade channels for our in-house Audio Visual brand within the South Island regions.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager; your primary responsibility will be to grow our South Island sales by quickly building relationships, getting orders from tough customers and growing our reputation for providing market best product with great customer support.
You will also be required to develop and implement sales strategies for the business across the different product lines which will include growth in current and new markets incorporating current and new customers.
Skills and experience include:
Proven sales experience, in a territory or other similar field
Turning small accounts into big ones through grit, graft and the gift of sales speak
Proven experience in the successful delivery of sales budgets
No messing around, get it done and done quickly attitude
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Experience selling fast moving or high-consumable products including merchandising would be an advantage but is not essential - we want the right attitude and that may not be the most experienced person.
The successful applicant will have exceptional communication skills and personal presentation as you will be building and developing relationships with key clients, including electronics-channel retailers and Electrical wholesalers.
A relevant tertiary qualification will add to the strength of your application - recent graduates with sales experience welcomed.
Monthly travel throughout the South Island region will be required with average 6 nights a month out of town.
